Matthew Wright is the General Manager of the First Practice Management (FPM) Group, providing full-service practice management support, software and consultancy services to primary care across the UK. He has a successful career in Information Technology Service and Service Management, as an Executive Director for a clinical software company and a subsidiary consultancy service before moving to FPM.
Survindar leads the FPM Group Content Team, responsible for the content, media and HR support for members, as well as resources that include weekly articles, documents, training materials, policies and protocols aimed at providing support for GP Practice Managers. He previously worked in senior urgent and primary care management roles as well as healthcare IT, and is keen to promote the valuable contribution of practice managers in healthcare.
Donna manages the business support team, responsible for the administration of subscriptions and services we provide our members, as well as managing the FPM Recruitment and Consultancy services. Donna has worked for FPM since 2010 and enjoys working with such a great team.
Damian is responsible for coordinating the software development team and managing the projects they undertake, producing tools and products that will meet the needs of the modern-day practice manager.
Dave leads the MSW and Tech Support Team that resolve any customer IT or MSW website requests, providing a single point of contact for the customers and working with the Development Team and the FPM Group to develop and improve our services for practices.
Nicola ensures that the Thornfields Primary Care Training Services delivers courses (face to face or online). She works with Gerry and Charan and the Content Team on training updates, Trainer recruitment, session feedback and development and ensuring that we deliver an efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers.
Charan has a strong background as a Business / Practice Manager, in her previous practice Charan was the Managing Partner. She also supports the wider company in running Thornfields workshops and our consultation services.
Gerry has a wealth of experience both as a Practice Manager and as a trainer and HR Manager in industry. He both advises and trains practices to ensure they are regulator and statute compliant. Feedback confirms that he delivers this in a way that is informative, fun and makes a real difference.
With a wealth of expertise in HR, Samantha is here to provide support for members on the HR helpline and the FPM website, as well as supporting colleagues with our consultancy and training services. Her experience working with complex HR scenarios means she can provide you with the right advice for you and your practice.
Katerina is our content specialist who looks after our social media channels, bulletins, vlogs, SEO, Google Adwords, graphics, campaigns, as well as overseeing the FPM Group webpages and online presence. She has previously worked for a well-known fashion blogger and in Public Affairs and Communications for Coca Cola in Greece.
Emma is the Thornfields Administration Support for the North and Midlands (including Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales). She works closely with the customers and organisers to ensure their workshops go ahead smoothly confirming dates, times, delegate numbers and that stock is ordered for trainers and their groups.
Simran responds to customer queries, completing and checking new orders, and keeping our customers happy with their products. She is also a contact for customers who have overdue invoices on their account.
Brett is a contact for customer queries, completing and checking new orders and helping our members and customers to get the best out of their products. He is also responsible for helping customers with payments and dealing with any technical queries that need the Tech Support team to resolve.
Penny has various roles including resolving customer queries about products and services as well as account allocations and learning more about the services we provide for our growing FPM membership.
Destiny works with other members of the team dealing with FPM, iQ and MSW accounts reconciliation, as well as helping our members and customers with their account, product and service queries.
