"First Practice Management ran the Introductions to Practice Management course 2 days running at Wessex LMCs in June 2013. First Practice Management were prepared to trial this course as it had not been run for a group before – and it was a great success! The delegates were delighted how much they had learnt and those who had been in practice management for a little while wished that they had done it sooner. The delegates enjoyed the relaxed style of the day and appreciated being able to talk to colleagues and the trainers in a confidential and informative setting."

Louise Greenwood, Wessex Local Medical Committees (LMC)

"Provide ideas for plans and planning that I can implement in my current as well as on a larger scale in the future."

Practice Manager, Nelson, Lancashire

"I found the one day Introduction to Practice Management training very informative. I liked the fact that the training was tailoured to the needs of the practice and the trainee. Having worked at the practice for many years I was familiar with some aspects of the training and being able to skip these and spend more time on the sections I required more input on was extremely helpful. The training was well structured, well presented and I came away feeling that I knew what was expected of me in my new role as Practice Manager."

Practice Manager, Luton

“Ruth delivered everything in a very easy to understand format. Excellent”.

Finance Manager, Nelson, Lancashire

"Having worked in general practice for nearly 13 years, the last as Practice Administrator I enjoyed the Introduction to Practice Management training and found it very informative. Both Ruth and Ellie tailored the day to our needs. They were willing to answer all our questions throughout the sessions, as well as giving some useful and helpful suggestions. The training helped to fill the gaps in my knowledge so I now have a better understanding and feel able to support our new Practice Manager."
