Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and highly motivated manager, with strategic vision, to join this established and respected medical practice. Candidates must be conscientious, provide solid leadership and have a sound knowledge of management, leadership, finance, planning and HR.

Lower Gornal Medical Practice is a 9000 patient Practice, with an expanding team of clinicians and a loyal team of qualified and experienced administrative staff.  This is a well-established medical practice, respected by patients for its high standard of patient care, collaborative working, training, teaching and personal development within its team.

Candidates will:

• demonstrate excellent communication, organisational & strategic planning skills, confident leadership skills and will preferably have previous General Practice experience

• be confident leading on systems development and responding to changing NHS targets, maintaining a profitable and efficient working environment, with a good understanding of how the NHS and General Practice is organised

• have a sound knowledge of IM&T as well as financial and budget control

• have thorough knowledge and experience of HR and employment law
