PRACTICE MANAGER VACANCY

Shotton Lane Surgery, Deeside Flintshire, North Wales. CH5 1QT

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced practice manager at this patient centred practice.

Full time 37.5 hrs per week over 5 days (part-time/ flexible working may be considered for the right person)

Salary in the range of £25,000- £40,000 (pro-rata) per annum depending upon experience.

The Practice is situated within Wales about five miles from the historic city of Chester. Snowdonia and the North Wales coastal resorts around one hour away. Excellent links to Manchester and Liverpool airport, the North West and the Lake District.

Main attributes

The successful applicant must have a demonstrable career in all the operational aspects, including IT, HR, Finance and Health & Safety.

Previous General practice management experience is desirable for this post, including strong system navigation skills, claims and QOF processes.

Shotton Lane Surgery is a well-established GMS practice delivering patient-centred care to the residents of Deeside area. We have a growing list size of over 8600 patients in a socially diverse community. Our well established and happy primary care team, including GP’s nurses, HCA’s, and pharmacist.

We have has been established for over 60 years and continuity of care is very important to our staff and patients alike.

The role of the practice manager is central to maintain relationships with our colleague practices and the successful candidate will be expected to take on this role with enthusiasm. We are looking for a manager to guide this friendly 3- partner practice into the future, whatever this may be. The ability to respond pro-actively to the constant changing nature of General Practice and primary care as well as lead and manage an experienced practice team is essential.
