An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and highly motivated manager to join our friendly team at Farnham Dene Medical Practice. We are a two-site, GMS training practice located in the beautiful Georgian market town of Farnham, on the Surrey-Hampshire border, with a list size of 12,500 that is growing. As a practice, we take pride in working together to deliver the best care for our patients, as well as working collaboratively across the Farnham locality, having been leaders in developing a new model of care as part of North East Hampshire & Farnham CCG’s NHS Vanguard programme. The practice is constantly evolving to take advantage of the opportunities arising in the everchanging NHS, and to find new and better ways of working.
The post will involve overseeing all business functions, providing strategic guidance and planning to the partners, and leading and managing the practice to enable the organisation to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment, whilst maintaining a high standard of patient care.
You will be supported by our great clinical and non-clinical teams, and will also work closely our neighbouring practices in Farnham Primary Care Network and our GP Federation (Farnham Integrated Services), in which we have prominent roles.
The successful candidate will be motivated, committed, and forward-thinking. Experience and enthusiasm in managing an NHS organisation is desirable. They will have demonstrable skills in leadership, human resource management, financial management, information management & technology, regulatory & compliance matters, and service development.
