Harefield is a village within the M25 surrounded by greenbelt. The practice has a list size of approximately 9500 patients. We are a GMS practice who fall under the Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group and are part of the North Connect Primary Care Network (a group of six practices working together).

The practice has two partners, four salaried GPs, three registrars and a strong nursing team. The reception and administration team is made up of 17 skilled, experienced and caring people who keep the Harefield community spirit alive in the practice. The partners are committed to providing excellent care to the community and to providing a stable, open and enjoyable working environment for the staff.

We are a training practice involved in the training of GP registrars, medical students and nurses.

Central to our practice vision is the level of compassion we show to our patients and to each other and we want this to continue to be our highest priority.

The practice is constantly evolving to work with the changes within the NHS and to find new and better ways of working whilst at the same time ensuring we continue to provide a high standard of care to our patients. The practice uses the clinically cloud-based system EMIS Web and the document software programme, DOCMAN. These are the same systems and software that are currently used across the whole of Hillingdon.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to support the partners in providing leadership and management to enable the practice to meet its aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.  More information on the main responsibilities of the role is available in the Job Description.

Salary will depend on the experience and skills of the successful applicant but will include an NHS Pension. The successful postholder will be working for a minimum of 33 hours per week and consideration will be given to both full and part-time applicants.
