St Georges Medical Centre is a large medical centre in a desirable location situated 5 minutes’ walk from New Brighton promenade.

The Practice offers a wide range of services to patients including minor ops, joint injection clinics, LARC clinics and general medical services, as well as providing a Wirral wide ophthalmology service.

The Practice is one of six Practices that make up the Wallasey Wellbeing Primary Care Network (PCN), hosting additional roles in Practice including a pharmacist team, health coaches, social prescribers, a first contact physio team and a frailty team consisting of an advanced clinical practitioner, paramedic, physician associate and nurse associate.

We are a forward-thinking training practice on a journey of continual growth, development and change. We are looking for a confident, well organised, supportive, enthusiastic and experienced manager to manage the Practice for a period of maternity leave. Our Practice Manager is due on maternity leave from September.

Must have at least 2 years’ experience in Practice Management, preferably in a GP surgery using EMIS Web.
Good I.T skills will be key, along with an ability to prioritise, motivate, and be very well organised.
