Title: The Lewisham Care Partnership - Operations Manager
Term: Fixed-Term role for a year (with scope for permanent role)
Pay Rate: £20/hr

You will be supported by the executive team and central services within TLCP.
The Lewisham Care Partnership is an established Super Partnership bringing together 5 practices in central Lewisham with a total practice population of 58k. We are looking for an experienced operation manager to join our diverse and energetic team.
JOB SUMMARY
To provide a management function to the teams, thereby assisting with the smooth running of the practice. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and have some supervisory experience, along with strong IT skills. You must be organised and confident, have a friendly and approachable manner and be able to work under pressure. Experience of working within a GP practice or other healthcare environment is essential.
We are looking for an Operations Manager to support the site with the day-to-day running of the practice. The Operations Manager will help ensure that all aspects of the practice are operating efficiently and effectively, co-ordinating and enabling the work being undertaken by the doctors and staff.
GP experience with supervisory/mgmt. role is desirable.
MAIN DUTIES
The following are the core responsibilities of the Operations Manager;
- Provide day-to-day support, leadership, first-line management, and guidance for the practice teams, ensuring a confidential, efficient and professional manner is maintained.
- Provide effective communications between patients, doctors, and other staff.
- Manage and deal with day to day needs, difficulties, and requirements of the partners and other clinical staff
- Manage the running of services within the practice e.g. compliance with CQC, Health and Safety audits etc.
- Oversight and management of the site, the recruitment, and induction of all new staff.
- Work with the admin team to ensure adequate staff cover for clinical sessions and appointments at all times.
- Ensure the effective use of clinical systems, IT programmes, and other systems used by the practice teams
- Responsible for GDPR Compliance
- Manage Patient Participation Group
- Ensure the promotion, monitoring, and documentation of performance and quality outcomes targets within the practice (including QOF), and use IT systems and software
- Staff management
- Training and Development
- Maintain confidentiality

OVERVIEW OF THE ORGANISATION
|
- The Lewisham Care Partnership is a super partnership based over 5 sites. The 5 sites will be fully merged by end of March 2022. The postholder will work closely with other site managers and the Managing Partner.
- The site manager will be supported by a central finance team, clinical support manager, CQC compliance manager, a pharmacy hub, EPS, and Path Lab hub allocation service.
- We also aim to introduce a central referral hub, records mgmt hub and a call centre to support our sites and enable working in a standardised manner.
