With over 5,000 verified members, First Practice Management (FPM Group) is the UK’s largest online information and support resource for GP Practice managers, providing bespoke recruitment, consultancy, and training services as well as software compliance solutions to Primary Care organisations and SMEs across the UK. The FPM Group is part of Stericycle, a global company based in the United States.
Our core FPM subscription service includes providing members with HR/Employment Law information, guidance, and advice via a number of channels including email, telephone, and website, providing commentary, scholarly articles, and opinion pieces, and we’d love you to join the team to help us deliver, improve and develop this service.
Our core subscription service includes providing guidance via an online HR Helpline that subscribers use to ask questions that will help them deal with day-to-day issues that a manager would face, such as absence management, staffing issues, contracts, recruitment, disciplinaries, investigations, and organisational restructuring among many others.
The FPM Group is quite diverse, and while you're core role will be providing advice and updating HR related documentation, there's opportunities to support our recruitment and management consultants with their clients, as well as our Thornfield's Training services team, who create and deliver training courses to primary care staff across the UK (face to face or online).
You'll be our voice of authority, the HR guru we look to for information and wisdom, and our subscribers will benefit from this with your regular HR/Employment Law articles, commentary, and opinion pieces in our email bulletin which is distributed weekly and through our busy websites and other channels to our primary care audience.
We're looking for an HR Consultant to join the FPM Group Content Team and help us maintain, improve and develop our HR/Employment Law guidance, information, and support services. As an award-winning service, our future plans are ambitious; we are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing a first-class service to customers and our drive to continually improve our products and services in order to grow our business.
We also have a range of other media, including our Youtube and social media channels, so if you have an eye for creative ways to get your HR message out there, we're looking forward to hearing from you.
The HR Consultant has overall responsibility for providing FPM subscribers with HR/Employment Law guidance, advice, and support via multiple channels, which include;
• Confidential email/telephone advice lines
• HR/Employment Law guidance sections of the FPM website and other services
• HR/Employment Law Index of the FPM Protocols Library which contains over two hundred model policies, procedures, letters, forms, and templates
• Scholarly articles, commentary, opinionated blog posts published on our email bulletin and website
Currently, we are working from home, but our business is based in Leeds. We're not going back to the office just yet, but when we do, there will be a form of blended working (mostly WFH, with some office meetings arranged in advance).
