The results are in for the FPM Practice Manager Job Satisfaction survey. We would like to thank all those who contributed to the survey.
This year’s Practice Manager Job Satisfaction Satisfaction Survey has resulted in some significant findings with more than half (57.6%) of practice managers have considered applying or looking for a new job within the last 3 to 6 months. This is a slight decrease from last year (61.92%) , however, still a significant proportion of managers looking for a new role especially if you compare this to the CIPD/Halogen Employee Outlook findings this year which showed 24% of respondents to be job seeking.
Of those looking to move role, only just over a third was for another practice manager role with some of the main responses being ‘anything other than a practice manager”, “anything outside of the NHS”, “anything less stressful” with specific examples being teachers, consultants, and CQC inspectors.
We have put together an infographic to display the results and responses further.

First Practice Management would like to take this opportunity to thank all practice managers who took the time to fill out this survey. If you would like a breakdown of the results you can find one by downloading this Word document.
