A new leaflet for practices has been produced this week on the Use of Patients' Health Records, put together in response to a request from the FPM advice line. It provides patients with a useful and easily digestible source of information on why their health records are kept, the ways they are used, and how they can be accessed.  

Elsewhere, small but useful changes have been made to the Contract of Employment (for Salaried GPs) and the Extended Hours Operating Protocol has been updated in relation to the 2016/17 enhanced service scheme. 

FPM Members can view these changes in the Policies and Procedure Library.
