How are you evidencing your practice’s progress against the five key questions?

We’ve launched iQ CQC Toolkit 2 as the answer and FPM members can now purchase this at a specially discounted price!

As you know, from October 2014,the new style of CQC inspections follow five key questions and their associated ‘Key Lines of Enquiries’ and six specific population groups, which replaces the previous outcome-based inspections.  And while practices are working towards meeting the requirements of the CQC, evidence to back up your progress is critical.

What’s new?

The new toolkit replaces the iQ CQC Toolkit 1 used by over 2,000 practices. It has been designed and developed to support general practices with the new style of CQC inspections. A unique compliance management tool, the online toolkit includes templates, CQC regulations, guidance and over 225 policies and procedures, all of which are designed to help practices log evidence that they are meeting the CQC’s requirements.

Cloud-based, with a host of interactive features

Toolkit 2 is cloud-based, which enables practice staff to securely access documents from any location, and can also be used as a central library for all practice documents. The CQC Toolkit 2 dashboard clearly indicates evidence of compliance at a glance with a green status bar and highlights any gaps. Other unique features of the online product include a reporting function to track progress against compliance requirements; an ‘auto-map’ function that automatically links practice progress to the five key questions and an audit function to demonstrate any outstanding actions that need to be completed in order to meet compliance requirements.

Why does it work?

Because the Toolkit allows you to specify groups of staff and the protocols and policies relevant to their roles within the practice, each time you publish a protocol update, it automatically becomes available to the staff member when he or she logs into the toolkit. Toolkit 2 then records when a particular policy has been read by the staff member – so much easier than chasing people around with pieces of paper to sign!

Introductory price

Toolkit 2 replaces the previous version of iQ Medical’s CQC Toolkit, which was designed around the old style outcome-based CQC inspections. For a limited time only we are offering FPM Members a discounted rate on the iQ CQC Toolkit 2.
