Did You Attend Our November CQC Webinar?

More than a hundred attendees from all over the country attended Thornfield’s free, 45-minute webinar on the forthcoming new CQC Single Assessment Framework (SAF). In fact the response was so good that we're doing it all again on 6th December!

The webinar was a practical session aimed at helping GP Practice Managers understand what the new CQC SAF means for their Practices.

It was led by Rathai Thevananth, who is both an experienced Practice Manager and a CQC Advisor ad she shared invaluable hints and tips for helping practices to get SAF-ready.

We covered a lot of ground, including:

What is the SAF?
What changes can we expect to see?
The new scoring system and ratings in the SAF explained
Quality statements and how to evidence these
Q&A from participants

The feedback we received was that this sort of timely, expert-led discussion was much needed and that practice managers up and down the country are feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the thought of what will soon be happening, as they try to balance business as usual with the new CQC regime.

We will be sending out a comprehensive guide for attendees shortly, summarising what was covered in the session and signposting further help and resources, and also uploading a recording of the session on our YouTube channel.
