The fourth in our series of FPM finance webinars took place on 24th May, with Phil Harnby of accountancy firm Mitchells Grievson presenting to a packed audience about Partnership Disputes. Practice managers from across the country joined the free session to learn about the main causes of financial disputes; tips for avoiding them; and the importance of a Partnership Agreement.
Questions from attendees ranged from how soon a partnership agreement should change once a new partner begins work, to the best place to find sample financial agreements, and what the right steps are to follow if you suspect someone of financial dishonesty or fraud.
All of the detail from the session and the questions that accountant Phil answered are included in our handy summary pack, distributed after each session.
You can also view a recording of the May webinar here.
We’re pleased to announce that the date of the next 30-45 minute webinar in our series will be Thursday, 30th June, on the topic of Avoiding Fraud. Phil will cover, amongst other things:
Should you need further advice after the session, or just want to talk things through face-to-face with Phil, he is always happy to set up one-to-one session with you.
