The new NHS App will be launching soon, and both GP practice staff and patients will be keen to understand how using it will benefit them.
To help answer those questions, we have created this quick video highlighting just a few of the key benefits of the app to patients and practices.
The NHS App enables patients across England to book appointments 24/7, order their repeat prescription and view their medical records when they need to – they simply require access to a smartphone or tablet.
The app is already available to download for Android and iOS users, but patients will have to wait until their practice is connected to it before they can take advantage of all of its features. The aim is for all practices to be connected by 1 July 2019.
The app makes it easier for people to get through their GP, giving them an alternative way to access their GP practice whenever they need to. It’s a great idea to encourage your patients to download it now and become familiar with how it works.
