Personal Administration claims to PPA - dispensing fees

Flu vaccinations

The procedure for claims for flu vaccinations is exactly the same as for all personally administered items.

Dispensing fees - non-dispensing Practices

The dispensing fee is calculated on the basis of the total number of prescriptions items submitted each month, calculated separately for each individual practitioner, in bands as follows:

501 - 600	£2.343
601 - 700	£2.315
701 - 800	£2.289
801 - 900	£2.265
901 - 1250	£2.242
1251 - 1750	£2.222
1751 - 2000	£2.204

If the Practice is submitting more than 400 prescriptions it is financially beneficial to split them into batches for each doctor.
