Choose and Book/Choice
Choice
Under the Choice initiative GPs must give patients a choice of at least four providers for the 14 main specialties when they refer patients to the secondary sector. Choose & Book is the system by which a patient's choice of booking is made. Choice at referral to hospital was introduced on 1st January 2006.
