We are seeking an experienced manager with a proven record of effectively managing people, finance, business planning and development, as well as ensuring the successful delivery of objectives, to join our small friendly GP Practice.
Our Practice Manager will provide management for the Practice in terms of leadership, strategic and operational management, communication (internally and externally), risk management, business development, financial planning and management, and contract delivery and performance. Currently we have a patient list size of 6.5k which we would like to increase. We also wish to develop the Practice further including working closely with other Practices in our local primary care network.
Responsibilities include ensuring effective communication with Partners, the staff team, patients, carers and colleagues both within the Practice and externally, as well as ensuring that the Practice’s team is able to deliver the services required to the highest possible standard and that patients are able to access the services in accordance with agreed standards.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the Practice meets the requirements for QoF and CQC (for both of these we have a rating of Good), as well as ensuring key targets are met and income is maximised.
Experience of working in the health care sector and an understanding of the challenges facing general practice are desirable but not essential.
