Our Practice Manager is retiring in July 2019 and we are looking for a suitable person to replace him. It is hoped to have a hand-over period of about 6 to 8 weeks. This is a part-time (25 hours), permanent job with salary according to experience, expected to be between £40k and £50 (full time equivalent).
We are a friendly two-partner GP Health Centre with a list size of 8000 situated in a residential area, close to public transport.
The applicant we are looking for must be practical, enthusiastic, innovative and well organised with good HR, IT and financial skills. The Practice Manager is expected to take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the Practice and coordinate the actions of the various practice leads.
The Practice employs a financial manager, a reception manager and an administrator with responsibility for all targets (QOF, DES/LES, local initiatives).
