Tribunal Compensation Limits
The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2012 is due to come into force after 1st February 2013, and provides for the annual round of tribunal compensation limit increases.
The main increases in the award amounts are:-
- The minimum award for unfair dismissal increases from £5300 to £5500.
- The upper limit for unfair dismissal compensatory award increases from £72,300 to £74,200.
- The maximum amount of “a week's pay” for calculating redundancy and other awards increases from £430 to £450.
