From 6th April employers with 10-49 employees are no longer eligible for the relaxation in real time reporting rules that allowed them to report all PAYE information to HMRC on or before that last payday of in the tax month, rather than reporting it on or before the date of each payment to an employee. They now are required to report PAYE information each time an employee is paid. However for existing “micro” employers (with fewer than 10 employees), the relaxation is continued until 6 April 2016.
State contracted out number (SCON) has to be included on PAYE full payment submission for every employee who is a member of a contracted-out pension scheme (i.e. contracted out of the state second pension, also known as additional pension).
