Charan Sarai, Training Business Manager for Thornfields, the recently crowned Education Provider of the Year at the GP Awards, discusses the success of the primary care training specialists’ ILM-accredited courses, which focus on the real challenges that managers and leaders face on a daily basis and help build leadership, management and coaching skills.

Congratulations must go to this amazing group of managers who are all thrilled at their well-deserved success, which has come through hard work and commitment. The reason they worked so well together was that their individual skill mixes contributed to the team as a whole. The modules covered in the course are important whatever leadership role one takes. We covered the following in our Managing People with Confidence modules: Communication Excellence, Conflict Management, Establishing Effective Teams, Problem Solving and How to Motivate Staff.
