Syder and Young Ltd is an independent training company that specialises in leadership and management development for the primary healthcare sector. We are an approved centre for AMSPAR, City and Guilds, Institute of Leadership and Management and National Open College Network qualification programmes.
AMSPAR/City and Guilds Level 5 Certificate / Diploma in Primary Care and Health Management by Open Learning - two qualification options in one. The Certificate and Diploma programmes focus on real life general practice management. The content is consistently ahead of the game with regard to the ever-changing face of primary care. Our programmes will make you a better manager, but are flexible enough to allow you to study when you want to.
ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership - a development programme designed for experienced managers working at a strategic level within their organisations. The programme aims to develop or enhance the critically evaluative and leadership skills appropriate to this level of responsibility. This is an ideal programme for GPs and managers taking an active lead in the new GP Consortia.
