Cherith Simmons Learning & Development is a long established (1989) partnership delivering mainly to the public sector. Clients include Central and Local Government at all levels, The Voluntary Sector, Primary Care Trusts and hundreds of individual GP practices.
We deliver accredited management development training from levels 2 -7 nationwide. 90% of delivery is undertaken by the partners themselves, all of who have substantial line management experience and over 60 collective years experience working with managers in Primary Care. All are skilled and highly effective trainers.
We offer a full range of managerial and personal skills training and these can be delivered as commissioned programmes for any level of staff. We offer value for money and return on your training investment through measurable improvements in performance, efficiency and service delivery.
Programmes are supported with workbooks, information packs and elearning accessed simply on line through our Learning Management System 'Moodle'.
For GP practice managers, PCT staff, and aspiring managers we offer the Primary Health and Care Management Diploma. This long established programme incorporates the AMSPAR Diploma in Primary Care Management and the ILM Diploma in Management at Level 5 (ILM is the management arm of City & Guilds Institute). Students may take either or both qualifications. In addition, students may take a further assignment to gain a Kingston University Post Graduate Certficate in Management.
There is choice of delivery methods as follows - face to face workshops over 19 days, 14 days in 2-day blocks, or via distance learning where attendance at a 2-day induction and one-day final assessment are required. All programmes take around 15 months to complete.
ILM Level 5 award and certificate qualifications are also offered within these programmes as are AMSPAR certificated courses for receptionists.
