Job Applications Scoring toolkit
This toolkit is designed to use as an initial sift of candidates based on a scoring system which is applied to the candidates application details. It is especially useful where a large number of applications are received for a vacancy, where it becomes impossible for the practice to objectively assess and interview each one. A consistent and logical scoring system equally applied to all candidates will ensure a logical and non-discriminatory approach to candidate first-stage selection. It is not intended as the sole method of selection, and should be used in conjunction with other mechanisms such as testing, interview etc.
The toolkit comprises an Excel spreadsheet (which is used to capture scores for each application) and a set of usage guidelines.
